StyleWeek Northeast (SWNE) was held on September 2018 which took place in Providence, Rhode Island. SWNE is a bi-annual professional fashion production with their fashion runway shows as the trademark. It is initiated in 2009 and has successfully connect fashion-enthusiasts, designers, and media in fashion industry. Its exposure has a big impact on the fashion community in New England. This year, @ootdbostonian has the opportunity to be a part of Style Week New England (SWNE). Our team has the opportunity to attend the last show which presented the four unique designers. The highlight from the runway includes contemporary style from Clothes Horse Clothing presented by MERIDIEN, classic backdrop by Robin Wilson of ROSE & THREAD, classy and luxurious style by LALLA BEE, and combination of artistic and futuristic bag by KENT STETSON.
Apart from the fashion show, SWNE presented a pop-up market inviting local designers to showcase their products as well as giving them the opportunity to mingle and connect with audience.
The first show is Clothes Horse Clothing presented by MERIDIEN who brings back vintage style with a contemporary touch. She presented blue collection in an artsy and playful presentation. Her originality and uniqueness are shown through her high quality printed material and multi-color fabric combined in her blue theme.
Robin Wilson of Rose and Tread brings her simple and elegant style comes to live. Black and white color take place as a neutral color. Her collections brought in SWNE are high end basics that can elevate your style for working “ready-to-wear” with street-style touch. This classic backdrop is timeless look that can definitely ultimate your fashion essential.
Lalla Bee has introduced a lot of new collections for this Spring/Summer seasons. Easy evening looked stand out on her collection for SWNE. Her brand signature is creating elegant, luxurious, and feminine look with floral and tie-dye as her statement pieces.
KENT STETSON took over the last show in the runway with futuristic presentations. He showcased his clutch bag collections by incorporating robotics, cyborgs, and drones instead of human-models in the runway. It was such a unique presentation that brings his clutch bag collection stand out in the show. His creativity is a successful closing remark for Styleweek Northeast 2018
