2020 Fashion trends

The trends are only beginning to surface on the streets. From bright neon color to soft white dresses, there is a myriad of new styles that flatter anyone’s taste. Whether you need a wardrobe update or you’re just searching for a bit of summer styling inspiration, here are some of the hottest trends for 2020;


1. Neon Statement


As we look into the fashion community almost every influencer at least ever pictured in a neon dress, pants, shoes, blazer, or even nails. Neon/highlighter has been an ongoing trend since last year, 2019. Some of the Boston based influencers even have been pictured in this trend since last year. Not only the color of green that has been popular, colors such as pink, yellow, and silver have also been shaking the trend with its powerful statement.

2. Leather For Life


Who said leather is an old trend? 2020 profs that leather still rocking the game with its forever in-style look. According to Harper's Bazaar, labels like Prada, Givenchy, Hermes, and Rokh want us to wear year-round—and in all the colors, not just black. Colorful leathers are seen pictured on a lot of fashion influencers/bloggers herein Massachusets as well. A new trend of celebrating leather is in color.

3. Polka Dots


A classic print that will be forever staying in style, seen on the catwalks of Balenciaga, Balmain, and Dries Van Noten. For those who like patterns but don’t want anything over the limit, dots are definitely the way to go. Polka Dots is sure to be an ongoing trend for 2020.

4. Tiered Skirts


Nothing more satisfying than a nice drop of a tiered skirt. In this new 2020 fashion trends, the tiered skirt has been predicted to be an ongoing trend and will be seen in an upcoming runway. Classy yet trendy.

5. The 70's


The 1970s is a new trend despite the decades of its style. According to Vogue, the 70's style will take over the spring 2020 runways. Popular early 1970s fashions for women included Tie-dye shirts, Mexican 'peasant' blouses, folk-embroidered Hungarian blouses, ponchos, capes, and military surplus clothing. Bottom attire for women during this time included bell-bottoms, gauchos, frayed jeans, midi skirts, and ankle-length maxi dresses.

6. Puffed the sleeves


Puffed sleeves are a growing trend that will still be popular next year. There are a variety of Puffed sleeves look; Dresses, blouses, or even off-shoulder sleeves. Giving that vintage style up to date.

7. Blank Slate - Pure white


Gracefully looking? You’re in for a treat: spring is looking like boon time for wafty white dresses. Of course, that doesn’t mean your old nightgown will do. Vogue mentioned, "Consider this look carefree summer immortalized (so long as you steer clear of children, pets, and red wine)."
