MY favorite WINTER FASHION TIPS

Outfit Of The Day by @jessinthatdress

Winter can be long, cold and sometimes a bit dreary. We tend to hibernate and stick to basic colors – I am suggesting the opposite!

My advice is to spice up your winter look with a few tricks!

1.    Dewy skin is everything! Find a great face oil or hydrating moisturizer to use right after you get out of the shower - This locks in moisture. I use USDA Organic Cocokind Chia Facial Oil.

2.    Jackets! It is hard to be cheerful when fashion can be lacking in color. Its great to have a staple black, beige or grey jacket. But… this winter step out of your comfort zone and try a fun color! I love my heather hyacinth (purple) jacket from J.Crew and my red jacket from Zara.

3.    I have worn tights my whole life but lately I have switched to thigh highs, very comfortable! I recommend Vienne Milano, they are made in Italy and the quality is amazing!

4.    Hats! This will warm you up but also make a statement. I just bought a hat with removable faux fur poms-poms in hot pink and deep teal colors.

5.    Red lipstick is not for everyone but… try it! Cosmopolitan Magazine did a study once and had women who never wear red lipstick try it on for the day.  The results were women felt more empowered and confident!

6.    Metallic is always catchy to the eye! I love silver, bronze, gold colors in the winter… It almost looks like a texture which is my next tip!

7.    Switch up your textures. Try velvet, faux leather, feathers, sequins, I love it all and it adds interest to any look.

Good luck with staying warm and fashionable this winter season!
